Remove all Advertisements Just curious what everyone is running as far as handlebar clamps. Seems like every time I go down its either the clamp itself twisting or the bolt that holds them to the triple clamp. I've looked around and don't really seem to see many options.

I had the same problem with my 07. I just removed the the cheap factory "Dog-bone" and installed some Moose 1 1/8 Universal mounts. This solved the problem for about $30.

Hi! I am going to move the cluster gauge from the handlebar, and was wondering which options we have for handlebar "clamps" (with the normal risers) or whether I'd have to move to after market risers as well (maybe to get more pullback on that 06 handlebar). All the handlebar clamps for Harleys seem to have this trapeze-like bolts positioning, and that's not the same for the R's risers... ...

Been meaning to do this review for awhile now, but been a bit slack... Ok so the part in question, is the "Double Bolt" Handlebar clamp from DHZ. If memory serves, i think i paid about $40 for it on auction, and i believe now goes for about $60 buy now on ebay... What seperates this particular bar clamp from the usual crap found on minibikes, is the fact that it has bolts to anchor them to...

thats similar to what the used on the old genuine thumpstars, but instead of 2 bolts holding each bar holder at the bottom, the had one large bolt halding each bar holder. i have them on one of my bikes now and they are much easier to adjust bars.

ended up getting Honda 1973 CLCBXL175 clamps. If you remove the inner metal sleeve from the rubber bushing the shoulder on the Honda part fits in there perfect. then just use the rubber washer assembly on top and coupla washers on the bottom. where the clamp rests against the yoke is a perfect diameter match. very nice. waiting for my eBay steal Tommaselli Condor bars. pics later.
