Any of the learned folks here have experience, long or short-term, with Eezox Syntetic Premium Gun Care? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Thanks in advance for your insights. i see these scent blocker products an such...but to me the strongest odor producer would be you various gun cleaners an lubricants an the like.. i don t want to spray my gun with a water based scent blocker... even a gun thats been setting a while is gonna have what i call the gun smell...mabe its a good thing to air you gun out somehow or leave it with a fan blowing the oil smells off of it...

I use Mobil 1 on all my guns. Seems to work fine. I also use engine assembly lube for grease on my guns. I think it works as well as anything.

Maybe rub down the outside with a better penetrating lube/protective agent. I don't like my guns feeling greasy and slick on the outside but sometimes a little lube is good. Get some Hoppe's #9 lubricant and rub it in good on the exterior of the gun, then wipe off residual lube with a silicone cloth. Hoppe's gets in everywhere and never goes away.

I would keep it well lubricated with a thick lube. The military uses cosmoline and submerges the gun in it after warming up the grease. Any one here know a good place to get cosmo or another thick lubricant/protectant in a cheap mass quantity? I may want to store a few of mine long term too.
