Hello, I'm in need of at least one book on coping with the grieving process-any ideas? It's for someone that lost a child many years ago, and is still suffering greatly. She has reached out for help, but lives in another state, so while I try to find a counselor for her I'd like to get a book in the mail right away. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi My name is charlotte and i am now 19. My mum passed away about a year and a half ago from lung cancer. She was all i had, a very strong woman. She literally lived in the hospital two years prior to her death so that meant i was alone a lot. I miss her very much. I made it through college and now im at university, but im not the same. I dont understand what has happened, i cant remember how i...

No, nobody significant to me died, but my brother moved away for college. I don't think I've ever been so sad in my life. Walking by his room, looking in and seeing it bare makes me sad every time. It feels so surreal. I keep telling myself that he's gone out with his friends and it's going to be a late night for him. But every time I look into his room, he's not there and it's ...

Understanding the Grief Process Grief is a normal yet highly personal response to loss. Neither an illness nor a pathological condition, it is a natural process that, depending on how it is managed and understood, can lead to healing and personal growth. Grief is extremely powerful. It can catch you totally unprepared, knock you off balance and shake you to the core. It can be ...
