Alcohol addiction is a hard one to treat. I know for myself I had to sit through a whole lot of suffering especially the mental onslaught of cravings in order to start my healing journey. Its good you have some were to go that will help you get a start in your recovery.

Hi again backpacker Giving up pot was hard for me too, but it was a good deal easier than giving up alcohol. Don't lose hope - things got better for me after a few days. D

Good article. I don't care who you are, it's difficult not to feel for those people at least a little. Drug and alcohol addictions aside, they're still human beings who are obviously living a tough life. And while the rest of us work hard and have all of our nice things, at least for me, I'd like to see them get some help and into a better situation.

got a very hard to treat social anxiety here, alcohol, benzo's, GHB, amisulpiride, opiates, lyrica all dont work here (i kno most of them are recreational but its a good way to find ppl that are unresponsive to the same substances) while they are supposed to take away anxiety for many ppl, exposing myself to social situations doesnt work either if anyone in here has the same "type" of social ...

the dosage warnings are there for a good reason - half the problem with peeps who have issues with them take more than advised (quantity & frequency), mix with other drugs, drink alcohol etc ... i found out the hard way!
