Do they make them? I'm slightly freaking out. We are taking my 3 yo (as of Saturday) to the pediatric endrocrinolgist (sp?), to see if he is hypoglycemic. -He had what they call an "episode" about 2 months ago. Well, we missed the first appointment in August (DH had training for work that week). Well Tuesday was the first time we could get in. His episode consisted of well, he just ...

I know there were a few folks around here who had acquired free blood glucose meters through drugstore promotions. I am currently in the market for such a thing for a young woman I know whose doctor has advised her she is "pre-diabetic" and should keep tabs on her blood sugar, but because she is not diabetic, testing supplies are not covered by insurance. She doesn't have a lot of money....
