I have a hard time understanding what causes my blood sugar to go up. I am a recently diagnosed Type 2 diabetic. My most recent A1c was 6.2 and I switched from Metformin to Byetta (right now 5 mg but going to 10 in a week). Here's an example. My blood sugar at 6pm was 101. Learningmore! I feel like I could be writing your posts. We are the same height (almost), weight, BP, and other stats. This diagnosis came completely out of the blue for me, and I am struggling to understand how exactly I have PCOS with no family history, no cysts, acne, etc. It's a learning process I suppose.

No problem. My brief experience with GD really opened my eyes to what it means to have diabetes. It's tough and I'm very impressed now with people who manage it day and in day out every day of their lives.
