ok so i'm about to buy a tire and can't decide which to choose. i really like the aggressive tread design on the goodyear authorities (only sold in wal-mart) but there is no information anywhere on them regarding tread wear or how long they should last. I would like to get at least 35,000 out of them AT LEAST. The general grabber at2's are also aggressive but i've heard mixed reviews on them....

General Grabber AT2 Tires

I need new tires on my F150... but I need really good performance in the snow too. I was looking around at the General Grabber AT2 tires... from what I've read, they are pretty impressive tires and they last a really long time. I'm going to get size 265/65/R17 for my truck. Any remarks would be nice before I buy them....

For sale are 5 General Grabber AT2 off-road tires. The size is 215/65/16. 4 of the tires have ~6/32nds and 1 tire is brand new (14/32"). None of the tires have sidewall damage, and they are in good condition. They are currently mounted on 16" Subaru 5-spoke steel wheels and were used as snow tires. We didn't end up trading wheels/tires as my tires were a little more worn than I thought. Thought about buying straight away, but didn't find out a price. Not sure the current status.

I had a 4 new General Grabber AT2 LT275/70/18 tires on my 08 F250 4x4 and they SUCK. They roll so bad I thought I was gonna die a few times. I even put 80 psi in them from the 65 Dunn put in.... the rims move in the tires if you move the steering wheel left/right and the sidewalls are JUNK. I had a set of Good YEar Silent Armors on before and Im going back to them ...

When I bought my truck in 06 with 55k on it, it still had the OEM Americraps on it. First time I drove it in the rain, they handled so badly I went over to Sam's and got a set of Long Trail TA's on it. 60k later, they are still only half worn out and they handle very nicely on wet pavement.
