Starting Yesterday (Monday Dec1), I started having a new problem. After some random amount of playing, i would suddenly get a screen freeze for a second or 2, then the screen would 'pixelate'. Then I get an error message that says "display driver has encountered a problem but has repaired itself". only it hasnt repaired.. and I get a blank screen for about 2 minutes.. then the computer reboots.... |

After I finish installing Assassin's Creed 100% and download the new v1.02 patch and try to start the game. A message appears once the start up screen opens. Message is as follows: "Assassin's Creed game has stopped working, A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution if a solution is available." Anyone else have this issue?... |

I'm still having problems keeping this game from crashing in SLI mode. I'm running DX10, haven't tried DX9 yet but IMHO DX10 shadows are worth the minimal performance hit. It took me a while to find this out, but the reason Sampled strings sound so synthy is due to the dynamics between note A shifting to note B. This tutorial shows you how to make it sound like a solo string sample is bending.
