How far do I need to drive to get some? (Ok, don't say Texas, or like, real far. I'm in Chicago) Nope, cannot use reclaimed wood -- can't afford the $100 for the metal detector gizmo. Thoughts...

I'm looking to install travertine flooring in a kitchen in a house built in the early 1960's. From what I can obtain, the lumber (manufactured by Dierkes is a WGT No. 3 Dense SYP 2x10. They are 16" O.C. Maximum span is 10' 9" though third of room is 9' 3". The deflection calculator only has 11' and 10'5" options. At 11', the deflection is L 687 and at 10'5" it's L 766. Any opinions on how ...

Good Morning Burak, I flew out of Damascus on November 5 and was expecting to pay SYP 200 departure tax but was never asked to pay it. I thought at the time that it might be because i was flying out to Cyprus . However, I can confirm that there was no mention of it at the airport so it could be that the authorities have simply quietly cancelled it. Bill
