Hello! We are heading to Disney to catch the final days of the Food and Wine festival. We will be there late Thursday 11/6-Tuesday 11/11, so we can visit the F & W Friday-Sunday (the last day). This is our first time! We are interested in hearing about your experiences at the F & W festival. I would love to hear your suggestions about both day and evening touring....

Part 2: DLP First Timers Trip Report August 08 Paris and Day 2 at DLP Between our 2 days at DLP we spent a really nice day in Paris. As we were staying near Versailles it only took about 20 mins on the RER to the Eiffel Tower. We were planning to go up it but the queue was absolutely monstrous (no fastpasses here!) so we made do with a ...

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ I wanted to give my impressions since I enjoyed Silences quick trip thoughts so much. This is from my perspective of Disneyland as a first timer (effectively). 1. The details all over the place are amazing so take some time to notice them. 2. The afternoon rest you think you don't need? You do! If for no...

I have a toy breed that is eager to learn, very food driven and incredibly smart. As a first time dog owner, what do I need to know? Chim knows: sit. Lay (but only if I have food, the cue hasn't worked yet.) And we're learning off. What are other things I should work on? I've got the clicker and the bag of treats...and, how do I get him to focus on me outside of the house? He wasn...

I've never done a trip report before so hopefully I'll get this right. Apologies as it's going to be looooong! Us: Me and DH - both past the first flush of youth but in my case definitely prepared to act a lot younger than I really am whilst at DLP! Both of us have been to WDW about 10 years ago when I was lucky enough to do a 4 day Disney Management Programme at the Disney Insitute in ...

We are going back on December 1-5. That is when our original trip was planned but we snuck the birthday/anniversary trip in. I am so glad that we did as well. Not just because we had a fabulous time but now we have a basic working knowledge of the parks and what rides our kids will really enjoy. They said to give the picture about an hour to load onto the system before you try to get ...

I must agree with others about the heat. I'm in Bangkok right now, and today it is really sticky. We had a brief shower (looks like more on the way) and it made it really humid! By November the weather should be getting nicer. I've been in Thailand most months of the year, and Dec/Jan/Feb are my favorite times. November is just right up against that "best time" so hopefully you'll be fine....

This will be our 6th year at the Festival. I, personally, could never have the self-control to make a circuit of the Festival before buying anything , but make sure you get the festival brochure and an entertainment schedule just inside the park entrance. The festival guide has a fold-out map that shows all the kiosks and lists the food samples that each kiosk has. Have a wonderful ...

Thanks, Emma. believe it or not, I have not had a single failure for LLW using this method and it is easy. Crackers suggetsion for Pat Miller's book is a good one. And I agree with Mocha on her list of foundation behaviors. Of the four, I find focus to be one of the most important behaviors. All other behaviors stem from having a dogs focus. Chim, have you considered taking a class?...
