What can I do to fix this, I only recently bought ...

Hello, Whenever I try to go to a web site I get 3 pop-up warning windows that say "Cannot Find 'http://(a bunch of random characters)'. Make sure the path or Internet address is correct." I close a popup and a new browser window comes up. This occurs 3 times, 1 for each popup. My original browser window then goes to the site I want but is unresponsive. I have ran latest MalwareBytes...

Hello, When I open IE 8, the first tab will not open and I get an error message " "Cannot find file C;//.....Make sure the path or internet address is correct" I can open the 2nd and other tabs to my home page. I think it is trying to go to AOL toolbar which I disabled. This happens on both a vista and a Windows 7 system. How to I correct the path that IE8 is trying to go to? Thanks for your ...

I get the window upon start up...." can not find 'file:///' make sure path or internet address is correct." Other than making my computer turn off and on in stand by mode there is not a dire problem. I just close it and go on my way when in use. It is a bit annoying and we all like to have clean machines don't we? I've tried to search and delete. Have a fear that McAfee may be 'protecting' the ...
