I thought Lighthouse Bank only loaned money locally - guess we've been mislead, noting their 2 biggest potential losses are in Hillsborough and Palo Alto - not as local as we thought

I want to switch to a local bank for a FREE checking and savings account that comes with a Visa or MC check card. Ideally, they would have ebills as part of their online banking options and would have the option (and not charge extra) to download transactions from online banking into Microsoft Money. Deposits at ATMs are a plus. Availability of branches/ATMs etc factors in, but quality ...

I went into the branch and was approved for a new $3500 Visa Platinum Rewards CC with an EQ of 636. This is almost double my current highest major CC! No annual fee Interest rate is currently 15.9%, but I'm 2 points away from the 13.9% tier and they soft your CR every 6 months to establish your rate. I think the rates range from 9.9% to 17.9%. 2% or $10 BT fee. One hard pull on EQ for ...

I only found out by ...

QUOTE (jds @ Mar 17 2010, 08:24 PM) Approved for the LOC @ 9.25% Only $500 limit right now, and they stated it would have been higher but they just did the $3500 CC. Not a bad rate, congrats.

I didn't see RTP Federal Credit Union mentioned in the thread, but that's another one that fits your description. They are very small, only 4 branches, but everything is face to face and they use the cash points atm network that I think all the other CU's use. Be aware the first time you go to one of their branches though, the doors are always locked, not because they are closed, but because ...

It has been one month since my initial posts and email requests to Mint asking them to contact me so we could resolve any and all issues between Mint and MissionLink. Unfortunately after trying all contact methods available Mint support has been unresponsive. I will continue to be available to work with Mint if they decide to contact me in ...
