sets of push ups and sit ups of coarse. And eat lots of protein. For building muscle mass you should eat 1g of protein for every pound of lean body mass + 15-20g more (because your body needs more for gains). But yeah that will def keep you toned. But you're limited to how much muscle you can build without more resistance. There's all kinds of different styles of push ups and sit ups. I suggest ...

Unless you plan on becoming a competitive weightlifter, you can still benefit from power cleans without formal coaching. With a little patience and plenty of practice, it is certainly possible to develop acceptable form on the power clean to the point where you will benefit from the exercise and minimize risk of injury. I believe it's definitely worth the investment of time and effort to learn (...

A load of Doggcrapp: is Dante Trudel's Doggcrapp training system the next big thing in bodybuilding? Flex, Sept, 2006 by Greg Merritt Let's not call it a revolution yet, but if the '70s were the era of Arnold (double splits, high volume) and the '90s were the years of Yates (high intensity, low frequency), then this decade may be remembered as the age of Doggcrapp. Try to ignore the ...

You really can't control where the fat comes off your body, that's pretty much up to your genetics. That being said, however, you can utilize light weight strength training to build lean muscle and increase your overall metabolism. Do things like squats with no additional weight other than your body weight, light weight tricep extensions, VERY light weight bicep curls. Pretty much anything that ...

tbh you don't need a lot of fancy equipment or a gym to do resistance training - simply using your own bodyweight is plenty when you're starting out. There's lot and lots of exercises on www.simplefit.org that you could try and you don't need *any* machines or equipment for them at all. Increasing your lean mass helps your metabolism increase which is a great thing. Quote:...

what kind of running have you been doing? the best way to trim down your thighs is to focus on making them lean muscle. Long distance running is a great way to build lean muscle. Just make sure you eat healthy! (no McDonald's after running for 5 miles! Not accusing you of anything, just getting my point across). Jump rope is a great way to trim your legs down. It will help tone all the...

Hi all My 8 yr old has been snappy and curt all week, which really isn't like him (at least not every day), so yesterday we had a little chat about what was behind it. I thought it would have to be one or more of (a) not eating properly (b) not sleeping properly (c) coming down with something or ( d) stress from school, friends, etc. Well, it turns out it's (b). He says he's having ...
