Hello fellow ebayers. I am asking for your help in identifying a wonderful old cast enamel dutch oven. It is red in color with white on the inside and has white on top of the handles. The bottom is marked +GF+ with a number 20 below that. The bake-a-lite knob on top of the lid is also marked +GF+. The underside of the lid is marked with the number 20. Measurements of the pot are: 10 1/4" in ...

I am having my stove installed tomorrow and I am so excited! I have put up with lots of naysayers but I am doing it. The stove was given to me, 1985ish VC Resolute with two doors. I does look like it could use some enamel paint on the top where it is chipped off although it does not appear chipped but there are white or cream colored areas on the top that if repainted would look great, it is ...

I am looking for something that will dry with the hardness, resiliency and basic texture of a baked on porcelain enamel - but I need to apply it to wood. Specifically, marine grade plywood. I need a clear version and a tinted/colored version. It needs to be waterproof. Is there some epoxy or other material I can use?

Did my first paint job on truck with Viper Red BC/CC about a year ago. Being my first job it turned out ok but it seems like every panel has something that bugs me ie..waves, scratches, etc. Want to reshoot with Acrylic Enamel single stage. What would be my best plan of attack. I'm going to use red again. Thanks, Joe..............

What is the actual difference between polyester and enamel BC? And what makes the poly so much better? I am trying to deciede on which base would be the best to use on a 78 trans am. It is an all over and will be black. I have been told that HOK is a very good choice for the money. Also someone recomended SEM black base. This car is going to be a nice driver not a show car. Also the ...

So I was spray painting some lexan. I used a platic primer, 1 coat, then the black duplicolor engine enamel spray paint I used for my intake and blackhousing headlight. 10 seconds after I sprayed the lexan, it was all cracked and didn't go on smoothly. My questions are how do I remove the paint and repaint it so it doesn't do that? Thanks.

Hello I was painting acrylic enamel paint yesterday and I had some left over paint that I mixed with hardener. I left it outside overnight. It was cold last night say somewhere around 30 degrees and today the paint is still runny like the day before I don't see any gelling or it starting to dry. So my question is has anyone stored mixed paint in the refrigerator or freezer to keep it from drying ...

Hi guys, I need your opinion I did the bodywork on my hood before having some long block sanding boards to use and now that I have finished spraying it with enamel I can see my sanding lines where the bondo stops. It makes me sick!!! The lines I can see run straight across the back of the hood. I did spray three coats of high fill urethane before spraying enamel over it and sanded the ...
