Just ordered 2 gallons of egg whites with a pump. Each pump is equal to 1 whole egg (no fat, obviously), about 7g protein. Put 3-4 pumps into my shakes and i am set. Its tasteless, ordorless , pasteurized and salmonella tested, which means you can drink them straight up or make omelettes and such. http://www.eggwhitesint.com/index.shtml

I used to buy this stuff but to me its too much effort to cook all these egg whites and theres not that much protein in it anyway. I just eat oatmeal with 1 hard boiled egg in the morning. Its quicker and the fat isn't that bad anyway.

Diagnosed with Type 2 in the middle of last week. I'm an idiot because I saw it coming long ago and didn't do a **** thing about it. I'm a chemist and have been for 12 years, so I perform my own labs every six months. I saw my FBS rise from 72 twelve years ago to 114 six months ago. I knew I was IGT, but ignored it. My A1C was at 6.4. I figured I'd deal with it someday. Well, that day ...

Just had to give this a try. Chicken Fried steak is the DH's fav! Very tasty and the crust stayed on the steaks very well, which is always a problem for me. Tofu is a product that I've worked with for years. I've innovated and substituted a lot of things using tofu as far back as 1989 & 1990 and have taught many folks how to use it so that it doesn't always look and taste like scrambled egg whites. So my question is: Do you have any questions about tofu and how to use it? Let me know! Talk back!
