Hey Magic, just wondering, what sort of damage can one of these cheap "upgrade chips" do to an engine. Will it run lean or rich causing valves to wear down quicker ? Reason i ask is because my old s16 back in europe, looked like it had the ecu tampered with, and sure enough when i opened it to have a look, the chip in it (same as the one in the ebay link above) was a "superchip" brand or ...

Has anyone reprogrammed the Sport and Comfort modes? For example, change the settings on "Comfort" to start at 1st gear? Basically, I never use the Comfort setting, and I am sure I can manage on rain without it, so thinking of ECU tuning to make the "Comfort" into "Super-Sport", is it possible?

i have an 08 gt...when i removed my mufflers it felt sluggish i was told i could fix it by detaching the battery and reprogramming the ecu...if i detached the battery would the ecu reprogram to compensate for the different a/f ratio?..therefore getting rid of the sluggishness And also if i reprogrammed my car via detaching the battery is it capable of "learning" to use 93 octane to gain a ...

I have never seen one, so I don't know for sure, but as far as I know the axone does work on the SR50, but only does data / diagnostics and not ECU reprogramming... (I could be wrong) A document I read about the dash specifically said the axone could be used to load updated firmware into the digidash, but as far as I know there has never been an update released for the dash...
