Has anybody seen a DVB-S2 receiver in the wild that has a TDA10071 based demodulator? It appears that NXP (Philips) released info on the chip back in May of 2009.. but I can't find the part at distributors yet, or any devices that make use of it. I'm trying to get a development sample to make a DVB-S2 tuner with hardware blind-scan support (the TDA10071 has built-in blind-scan ...

Hi all, I'm finally getting some real success with my Sky Star 2 PC DVB and want to slave it to both of my DVB receivers. The goal is to use the DVB receivers to blind scan and find 4:2:2 and HD mpeg2 feeds then enter the info into ProgDVB on the HTPC and watch them. What I have been doing is connecting a short section of coax from the PC DVB card to the loop out connector on one receiver at a ...

In Europe where satellite providers like Canaldigital sell cards only and customer usually buy DVB-S receivers from stores it would work. However with Dish network it does not. You can call Dish and reguest a new purple card. Let them know it is for your RV. This is from Dish website: Mobile Service is for people on the go, such as truck drivers and RV owners. You can order up ...

Just keep in mind guys, AZBox maker OpenSa t is very young family business started in 2007, and they didn't expect their receiver to have such interest throughout the world. For now, they do not manufacture any receivers for US market at all, and dual DVB-S2 tuner is a welcome option first of all in Europe and other places. Blindscan has a much lower priority for European market, where FTA ...
We have an additional subforum dealing with PCI and USB receivers. Free to Air PC DVB Discussion - SatelliteGuys.US You might tiptoe through there for some relevant info. I tried USB for my first receiver... it was a nightmare. Then, I tried a PCI for my second. The nightmare continued. Then, I got a stand alone receiver and the lights went on. Tuning up a dish, tracking the arc, ...

nfusion receivers are **Mainly** used to steal Dish Network & Bell TV. They are really bad for FTA Sonicview is older and unless you find one pretty cheap I know of others that are better. Coolsat 8000/8100 can do DVB-S2 and work really well. Only drawback is no blind scan
Quote: tried to tune lpb in today and nothing no signal here north of st louis thanks for the info What are you entering for the TP info? Don't forget for "DVB-S2", on most receivers you need to enter the proper FEC and Pilot options.

Also ich habe da so einige Receiver zuhause gehabt.
