So Watchmen didn't do as well as was expected at the box office, but we knew that. However, we also knew that a ton of footage was cut from the theatrical release at the behest of producers and distributors. Well as luck would have it, the Director's Cut will be making its way into theaters (at least in the U.S.), but it will be a one-weekend limited release: July 17 to July 19 at select theaters...

Will there be a Director's Cut?

I know that there isn't one yet, but i remember Ridley Scott says on the intro to the Extended version "This isn't the Director's Cut." So, does this mean he plans to do one? I can't see what he'd change, apart from touching some stuff up a la Blade Runner.

Watchmen 2009 Director's cut

Dear all, Just seen that copies of Watchmen have been uploaded by some of our trusted uploaders, however this is the 2hr 42 minute theatrical release, any news on the 3hr 9 minute ish Director's cut, any idea when that will be posted. I really want to see it, but don't want to have to download it twice, its a long movie hence big file so could upset my ISP.
