I have thought of Deming MORE than a few times as a possible place for retirement. I go through there twice a year when I visit friends in the Phoenix area. Have found the people to be generally pretty friendly.

Read Ordinance 37 before purchasing ANY unimproved property, less than 2 acres "net" in Luna County. After this Ordinance was placed in effect you could not give those parcels away... Caveat Emptor, Let the buyer beware, my friend
