Here is what I believe to be a custom Smith and Wesson 25-2. The barrel is about three inches, which I believe to be a custom job. The action is oh so smooth and of course this is pre lock, pre frame mounted firing pin. And yes, she is a round butt. There is an additional ball bearing detent on the yoke for a tighter lock up. I will post some more pics soon of this fine revolver. I do not think the barrel is stock because the detent made in the crane was not blued. There were a couple of shops that made these type of modified 25-2 revolvers, maybe someone can help identify it. The smith forum guys have tried and we have nothing yet. I would keep her, but I am trying to standardize my pistol ammunition ...

Thanks for the advice everyone. I contacted D&G reloading, the person i ordered from seemed very nice. They sound very busy but they were amenable to making a bullseye type of load for me with a swc projectile. I thought it was pretty terrific that he refused to take my credit card info until the order was completed.
