Hello,  I just tried driver guide and found the chipset software I was looking for ( links and info below), this package includes drivers for the audio, ethernet, Smbus, and memory controller; everything you need.  I'm not sure why this isnt on the driver/software download page, but its not. Hope this helps someone in the futures so you don't need to pull your hair out link me.     ...

hi guys having trouble getting drivers for this machine compaq presario 6000 website no use at all.. the motherboard is MS-6541 VER 1.0 AND downloaded from msi website just confused now lol any help getting ethernet vga and sound drivers would be great thanks

cheers halo i just used that everest and it showed what model presario it was turned out it was a 6027 so got drivers from compaq website.. thanks again

Everytime I turn on the laptop, everything seem to work good for about 2 minutes sometimes less than the screen freezes with funny colored patterns. It seems like when it`s I haven`t open the cpu for a long time it takes longer before it freezes but it always end up freezing after a little while so I don`t have time to do much.
