Hello, I am new and am convinced I have colonic inertia. Started when I hit puberty. Been on laxatives since and am now 35. Hey there! Thanks for the response. I just had the anal/pelvic floor test. I am pretty sure I did fine with the pressure but could not expel the balloon! I was hoping the floor was going to be fine. Guess not!

I don't think Colonic inertia discriminates on age or gender. At 31 i was rushed into surgery for a large bowel obstruction.
