You all know well if you live in America of the Civil War. Most of which has been a big conflict on the country but still helped us in the process. Though Lincoln was a smart president and used his smarts to make sure the union was held together he died. He was killed by John Wilkes Boothe at Ford Theatre. When Johnson came in after he purposed a reconstruction was kind of a little bit disturbing...

Why do you think Lincoln did not abolish slavery everywhere in the United States?  He did free about one million slaves, but there was three million slaves in states that had not seceded from the Union yet.
