I moved to an area with very hard water a little over a month ago and I'm worried about its affect on my hair. Our tea kettles were coated with limescale when I moved in, so I bought some citric acid to dissolve it. I know that it can be used as a rinse, but does anyone know what the amounts for diluting are? Already my hair is starting to get more dry and tangly. Thanks!

Do I really care how much citric acid I'm in taking? Should I? It's in sooo many things it just seems like at some point it's gotta be too much. Or is it one of those things you can eat and drink and it won't matter one bit. I see it in organic things that don't have any other red flag ingredients, so I'm curious if it's one of those things I should ignore or not. Any one know more about ...

Looking to amke some bath bombs with DD and have looked in loads of places for citric acid. Chemists only sell 50g boxes for about 99p but I would need much more than that. Online is quite expensive due to postage charges etc, is there anywhere sells it locally, Belfast etc. Thanks

Many sugarless drinks would be more satisfying for me if they had more "punch" - more flavor intensity. I'm not talking about "no sugar added" fruit juice - they're often fine, but it does apply to most drinks that are specifically labeled "sugar-free" or "sugarless". It even applies to diet soft drinks, and particularly those with pseudo-fruit flavors. I solved the problem (for me, at ...
