We're in search of a fun day/night out with the family to find a Christmas tree. Hot chocolate, good atmosphere, not selling everything under the sun. You know? Any suggestions? We live in AA County but will travel to Balt/Howard/Carroll.

Looking for a good and inexpensive Christmas tree farm in Macomb, Oakland, or Lapeer Counties. Seen the places that want to charge you $70 for a basic tree Just hoping someone knows of a good place! Thanks!

SHEPHERDSTOWN, W.VA. -- Morning dew glistened on the fields at Eric and Gloria Sundback's farm Tuesday when a Chevy Suburban pulled up the gravel drive. Two men alit and unloaded a handmade, foldable measuring stick that could stretch two stories high. A special mission had taken them 75 miles from the White House to the West Virginia panhandle. Coast Guard Rear Adm. Stephen Rochon, chief...

We are going to be in the Albany area on Thanksgiving weekend and are looking for a Christmas Tree Farm to cut our own tree and bring it home with us. We are NOT looking for an overly commercialized farm, just a place with good quality trees to help cap off our weekend. Our kids are all adults so we don't need Santa, reindeers, etc.....

Christmas Tree: Tree farm or Forest Service? I am getting prepared to begin my search for the perfect Christmas tree here in another week or so. I am curious if anyone here ever gets a permit for a Forest Service tree? I have always gone to a tree farm and did the U-cut thing. Being in NW Oregon there are a bazillion tree farms to choose...

It's probably a trek for you, but I really like Chapel Hill Nursery in Perry Hall. Definitely a "destination" because they have animals you can walk around & see & feed, & a beautiful koi pond. There is a snowball stand in the summer & hopefully they're smart enough to sell hot chocolate in the winter too! They actually don't 'sell' anything other than plants & such. The indoor building where ...
