I have a need to change the 0:0:0:0:0:0 mac address assigned to the tun0 interface so vpnc tunnel will go through mac address inspector. Since you can not ifconfig the ethers on a tun0 interface I was wondering if there is a outbound packet filter program I can run to rewrite the mac address on outbound packets from a interface? Or maybe some kind of trick I can do to get a...

Hi, I need some information on changing the MAC address in Windows 7. I shared a local network in my home. So I need to make my network more secure. Buy altering the MAC address I can allow limited access to other users on the network and for the internet. I had done the same on Windows XP before which was quiet beneficial. Thanks in advance.

I was wondering if anyone knew how to change the physical MAC address on a PC, without changing the NIC. I have done it with the old IBM mainframes, however that was about 20 years ago. I'm assuming the process is similar, just modified for PCs, but a lot can happen in 20 years. The purpose of learning this is just to relive the old days, nothing more.

All over the net people who need to change their physical MAC address are being denied access to the internet by this BUG. I need to change my MAC to connect to my AP, its as simple as that. Had to go back to XP to get access to the net....sad and inexcusable Fix it and advertise the fix please Unbelievable

If you use Intel WiFi driver, you can update it yo version 13 for Win7, and you can change MAC in Manager of device, but in fact it didt change =( Only if it begin from 12... Who understant how change?
