I own a 441 Stihl that's all stock and want to get a 32'' or 36'' bar/chain for it. I cut alot of firewood and most of it is 30'' across. Stihl offers 7,8 & 9 tooth drive sprockets. I currently run a 7 tooth with a 20'' b/c. I'm wondering if I should run a bigger sprocket to get more chain speed or just stay with the 7 tooth? And I'm thinking of running a full skip chisel chain in the hopes that ...

ok, so i have a question in regards to the sprocket on the crankshaft of the vanos m5x/s5x motors. when installing it i noticed that the oil pump chain was tighter one way then the other. I went with the sprocket position that allowed more slack in the chain because the tighter way seamed too tight. I specifically remember looking at the sprocket and thinking it ...

On my XR the standard gearing is 14-48. For offroad use this is fine but I've got some onroad wheels aswell which I swap between. With these the standard gearing is rather short so I wanted to upgear it for a bit more speed. The problem is I don't want to change the chain length everytime so wanted to use a combination that qill require roughly the same length chain. I was thinking of 15-45 ...

Questions: - is a "RK Quick Acceleration Chain Kit - Suzuki SV650S" a good kit? http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...S--617730.h tml - should/can I go to envy and just ask them to buy + put on the chain or would that cost way more? - can I install the chain myself, or would that be risky?......
