Catabolic and anabolic processes evolve but stayed separate. -quote- "1. Anabolic and Catabolic processes have not blended over 4 billion years, but stayed separate. They have evolved to clear distinct catabolic processes that in many cases would cause real harm if they were blended with anabolic processes. 2. Catabolic processes seem to ...

Hey guys, i've got a question about going catabolic. I know its ounds dumb and honestly. well it's just my personal issue but i want to decrease the size of my legs. Football training has gotten them massive with quick twitch muscle which pretty much makes them look fat underneath jeans so i wanna slim em down a bit. I used to leg press every day and hit the treadmill post weights. I'd get all ...

When you go on the treadmill after a workout and you have some fat on you, will your body actually go catabolic and eat away at your muscles immediately or will it use your fat as energy? Because I consistently hear that cardio is bad when you're bulking and ****, but what if I wanna keep off the little fat I do get from bulking? I've been neglecting cardio cause I was afraid of losing my muscle ...

I have digestive issues, possibly colitis (it's been diagnosed differently by different doctors) along with CVS, without getting graphic it means I throw up a lot. I'm already fairly big, due to my health I'm not really looking to grow that much more for the time being but I do want to maintain what I have. What's the best anti-catabolic, legal or not. Not looking for something that ...

I thought that this topic might get a few very valuable responses for newcomers or even veterans for that matter. Please give a brief description of an injury you might have sustained, treatment for that injury, or ways you could have prevented it or have dealt with it since. It could prove invaluable for many. I used to have a nagging sore left hamstring. When I walked up hills it would ...

I do total body lifts 3 times a week, varying weights and reps and focusing on multi joint lifts. I also train MMA (muay thai, boxing, jiu jitsu, wrestling) 6 days a week for around 2 hours a day. The hard training is having a catabolic effect and is hampering most gains (size and strength wise) that I'm trying to make. I make sure to have an adequate number of carbs and protein after the ...

I hear you man. I had to stop training upper body for a year , last year. Injuries also raise ast and alt(liver functions ) on a test so do not be surprised if liver values are high a couple months after a a serious injury or even a minor one can cause this.

JJ, Yep, take your temp several times with a decent thermometer when you start the diet. That sets a baseline. And if it seems very low (more than say 1.2 degrees or more below 98.6 F), check for hypothyroid condition. Same thing if your temp falls much below your starting baseline as you lose weight. This happens a lot after a few weeks. Our bodies don't like to lose weight at any speed at ...
