dont wake up in the middle of the night to drink a casein shake. just drink it before bed. you arent doing yourself any good by waking up and possibly hindering recovery. your body will not go in a catabolic state while youre sleeping. that is just a myth

whey would be good becasue it would take u out of ur catabolic state quickly in the morning but thatfore it will raise your blood sugar more and could mnea u might gain a little fat, especially since the morning is when your blood sugar is very sensitive casein would provide you with protein for longer and wouldn't raise your blood sugar levels nearly as much but at the same time it would ...

If you're weight training, and hitting every muscle group + taking in that amount of protein, muscle loss would be minimal. Except I'm no expert and that much cardio might be catabolic (Well, you're in a catabolic state anyways because you're cutting, but I meant more so - I doubt it however). Really though, if you decrease 200 or so calories I bet the plateau will be broken. A lot of the ...

Your body is always breaking down the protein G-actin and Myosin Type 2 in the striated skeletal muscle cells into amino acids, however, consuming higher amounts of protein will reduce the amount. Also, the...

In most cases, no. A lot of beginners or people who have taken a long brake from weight training and diet can in the first month or so. To gain muscle you need to put your body in an anabolic state and to lose fat your body needs to be in a catabolic state. To have your body in both states usually isn't possible. Sorry, but it's usually one or the other.

doesnt that same study on AA also state: However, no statistically significant differences were observed between groups in body composition, strength, anabolic and catabolic hormones, or markers of muscle hypertrophy (i.e. total protein content or MHC type I, IIa, and IIx protein content) and other intramuscular markers (i.e. FP and EP3 receptor density or MHC type I, IIa, and IIx mRNA ...
