So I just got a call the other day, the first diesel MK3 cabrio is now dead. I guess it got hit and is being totalled by the insurance company. It will run through a salvage auction in NY probably. Hmmm, they are probably going to be very confused when they hear it run. Well, Lug_Nut now has the only diesel MK3 Cabrio. Guard it, guard it well!

I have a 1995 Volkswagen Cabrio 5 spd, that I am looking to part out. the exterior is black along with the interior, the door panels and seats are cloth party pattern, the front seats are a little beat up. If I replace the seat belts on my 2002 cabrio with the ones they sell at parts stores that dont have the pyro tubes will I be able to get the airbag light off or do they even hook into the airbag system? thanks

I think I may have a poltergeist in this car. I will start the car and it(sometimes) will stay started then eventually rough idle and die. I noticed my thermostat is sticking open but I think this is only part of the problem. While driving if I let it out of a gear and let off the gas, it will yet again, rough idle and die. I also noticed while its cold my horn doesn't work. On top of that my ...
