By British I specifically mean English. Some well known examples; Jaffar(Aladdin), Stewie Griffin(Family Guy), Van Pelt(Jumanji), Miss Trunchball(Matilda), Scar (The Lion King), Maleficent(Sleeping Beauty), Wicked Stepmother(Cinderella), David Bowie(Labyrinth) and Anthony Hopkins(The Silence of the Lambs). We sound retarded. Do Americans really find them sexy? Obviously when they say British accent they have in mind a Recieved Pronunciation one like Keira Knightley but they get worse! If you thought the posh accents were nauseous you should hear the northern and common ones!

Okay, I know Dick van Dyke takes the cake in Mary Poppins for his Americockney accent. But there are some others who come close as well - I saw the thread about bad Irish accents. I was shocked to find that one of my favourite American actors, Edward Norton, didn't pull off the London accent in his guest performance on "Modern Family"!
