After some time away from SSC, I decided to get back into the game with a Breville BKC700XL. It's a good thing it already comes with a My K-Cup because the sampler box inside was missing! We got this from Macy's - has this happened to anyone else? The box wasn't sealed, so I'm guessing Macy's took them out? As we were leaving, one of the sales clerks even ran after us and asked if...

I just bought the Breville 30 k-cup carousel at BBB today for $26($30 and used 20%off coupon), but then I realized it is not identical to the Keurig 30 k-cup carousel. So far the only difference I noticed is the Keurig version has a handle on top and the Breville does not. Has anyone seen both of these in person and can notice any other differences? TIA ( :

A couple of years ago I bought a Philips iron for about £50. It never got as hot or produced as much steam as I expected so ironing was hard work. A few months ago I bought a Breville one for about £20 which got much hotter and produced loads of steam, but it's already stopped working and I can't find the receipt. Is it worth buying another expensive iron or are the cheap ...

( Hi, I used a juicer \( Breville 800JE \) to make vegie/fruit juice everyday. The manuafacturer said that 95% of the nutrition content is found in the juice. However, the Vita-Mix® machine \( combination of mixer, juicer and processor \) said otherwise. It said that pulp/skin/seed has more nutrition than juice itself. Anyone care to comment? , Reply ...

AS A three-time world champion kickboxer, Adam Watt was more than capable of defending himself in jail. But it was an attack from behind, by an inmate swinging a pillow case stuffed with a five kilogram Breville sandwich press, that nearly killed the 42-year-old. Family members gasped as video footage of the October 1 attack, which occurred while Mr Watt was awaiting trial over an alleged ...

Hi DebB, The very luxurious owner's manual (looks like the kind that comes with a Mercedes!) has a chart indicating one should juice beets on the High setting. I tried putting them through whole, and when that didn't work I tried halved, quartered, and finally cut into chunks (also experimented with the Low setting) -- same result, which was a piece of beet stuck on the blades in the ...
