Hello all- I'm considering a '92 325i. The seller says the problem with this light staying on has been a problem for yrs. He says it's from the sensor and the part to repair this is unavailable (he's an amateur mechanic) -Is this possible, very expensive to repair, elusive, hopeless? Your thoughts, please BTW, car has 200k on it, seems to be well-maintained. Thanks in ...

I booked an appointment for the dealer for the weekend, I'm just wondering what kind of problem should I expect

Hello. I had bad master cylinder in my 02 Liberty due to an inernal leak in the unit a few months ago and changed it out with a new one. Since then the brakes work perfectly, but the emergency brake light has stayed on since then. I thoroughly bled the brakes repeatedly and it is still on. The light has been on for a few months with no problems with the brakes but I cannot get tested for ...

Trying to debug this light that is on the dashboard for 2 days now. The Brake light (the same one that turns on when the hand brakes are pushed) is staying on all the time. I checked the handbrakes and they're down. I checked the brake lights and they are functioning. What could it be? I don't have the owner's manual for it either. If I can find that I think it would be helpful. Any ...

I have a 2001 Honda 750 ACE and the brake light will not go off. Â Any suggestions would be appreciated. Answer Check if it is the front light switch or the rear brake light switch. Â Easily done by disconnecting one wire from the brake light switch on the front brake lever, or one wire off the rear brake light switch near the foot pedal. Â Once you find out which one is causing the problem, ...

Hey Guys ... my BRAKE light is stuck on , even after the e-brake is released. I engage the brake, then pull the release and hear it CLICK and snap up ... to fully release to the top (and I tug on it to make sure its tight at the top). What could be causing this? Thanks ---

More thoughs to this: While the engine is running firmly press and hold (like you are doing hard braking) the brake padle for a couple minutes. Then check the fluid level again. The padle should not sink and the fluid level should remain the same. Not a conclusive test for leakage but would give you an idea of how urgent to take the car to the shop.
