Thanks 123Runner for your prompt answer The PC have not the USB option boot in the BIOS. I used PLoP from this link http://www.raymond.cc/blog/archives/2008/1...ted-u sing-plop/ and now can see an option for USB at the PC switch on as in the last picture of the link above.

ναι υπάρχει όμως και σε κάποιο menu πρέπει να μην το έχεις κάνει mount επάνω δεξιά το παράθυρο του gparted εχει button για επιλογη δίσκου πρέπει να ξέρεις ποιό είναι το usb flash ίσως πρέπει να είσαι root με προσοχή είπαμε ! .

So I finally got my Win 7 Family Pack (at Best Buy in Manhattan for US$150). I upgraded two of my PCs in the last few days. On the first PC I kept getting "Invalid Partition Table" when I tried to run the install from the USB key. This PC gave me the same error when I was installing the Beta and RC versions of Win7. So I had to use the DVD to do the install on this PC. I don't know why...

Hallo, da ich ein defektes Notebook verkaufen will, möchte ich vorher meine Daten von der eingebauten Festplatte löschen. Ein Teil des Defektes stellt das nicht mehr lauffähige DVD-Drive dar, weswegen ich die im Netz vorgeschalgegen Tool nicht benutzen kann, die per CD booten. Habt ihr Tool, die das auch per USB-Drive erledigen?
