im looking to get a usb hdisk which also needs to be bootable to DOS. disk needs to be around 250gb. any suggestions? Ta.

i should have explained myself a bit better. what im trying to do, is store a number of images and make the same disk bootable to dos. ive done this with some 16gb usb keys without any problems using HP's Utility disk to make it bootable however with a hdisk the HP utility doesnt work, so im after some software and a hdisk which will work this software.

Hi, I've created a bootable Ubuntu USB flash disk. Is there any way to retain any installed software on the boot disk so that next time I boot from it, it is already there ? For example it doesn't come with Wine installed, I can install Wine once booted, but if I reboot it has gone. I'd like this to be available next time I boot.

thanks again - I guess it's most likely to be a USB flash disk issue - I might try cloning a startup volume somehow. See you round, Jezz mainly macbook pro (and then 4 others!)   Mac OS X (10.5.6)...
