Basically to cut a long story short my brother crashed his car and needs to cash his premium bonds to pay for the repairs. He posted the application yesterday, but the muppet forgot to put a stamp on it, and he didn't write down the bond certificate number. Is there any way he can get it back from the post officeor keep it in the sorting office as in its current state anyone can cash the bond....

Bonds are paid out by cheque sent to the home address of the holder that is printed on the bond. It will be very difficult for anybody else to cash it in. Ring the Bond office and let them know what's happened. I'm sure it will be OK. Do it first thing in the morning.

I was in Centralia on Monday. They had the black/blue KG retros, some all grey with orange accent R4s, and some Huarache AF1s (the blue ones with the white midsole). Thats all i thought was really worth mentioning. They also had some uninteresting Jordans though.

yeah a laughable interest rate, but it's down to supply/demand. if people dont take their money out of premium bonds then they will keep the interest rate at this uncompetitive level. too much inertia when it comes to premium bond holders.... people should take their dosh out and put it in a better savings product.

Hi Premium Bonds don't really "perform" like other investments as they are a pure gamble. The notional interest that you don't receive is pooled and then doled out randomly as prizes. When you buy premium bonds you are taking a punt on winning one of the prizes, and the chances of winning depend on the notional interest rate and how the prize money is divided up (for instance, since ...

Bail Bond companies take a premium of 10% of the total bail amount. A $10,000 bond costs the jailed inmate $1,000. That's how they make their money.
