Try this (just divide the quantity by four!!) (try adding a little paprika / cayenne pepper or some lea and perrins worcester sauce for an extra kick!) Happy cooking! x

bolognese sauce this recipe might be too complicated... you decide. the ingredients are simple and cheap for the most part. and Id say double it and its great for saving till later, kinda like chili in many ways. but it goes great on pasta. http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/emeril-lagasse/ spaghetti-bolognese-recipe/index.html its so good. that particular recipe is great, but Ive made it ...

Gene is definitely my early favorite, which means he will probably turn into an asshat by episode 4. Either that, or he will be a complete doormat most of the year. I'm confused about why the guy who did Chinese food was criticized for cooking a cliche, while the other guy was celebrated for stumbling on "a dish that every Indian family has the recipe for" or whatever it was that Padma...

Since we are cooking today, here is one of my all time favorites. Not really hard at all, but time consuming due to the simmering and reductions. I did this at a local restaurant last week for a group of 25. This is a true Italian recipe from the old country. Classic Bolognese Sauce Serves approximately 4-6 4 oz EV Olive Oil ¼ stick Unsalted Butter ½ lb pancetta (can substitute thick cut bacon...

I am not sure what you want to cook with your mince: For bolognese sauce etc fry your mince stiring a good bit every now and then. Also add your seasonings then. Then when it is browned and crumby add your sauce ingredients. For meatballs etc add an egg and some bread crumbs. The more crumbs you use the drier it will be, so use enough to take up some of the moisture of the egg, but still have ...

Cheri, glad I could help. The sour cream sauce is sooooo yummy!! Patty, we do have a small area for a garden. Right now we're trying to decide if we want to stay in this house, though. I'm making spaghetti bolognese for dinner tonight. I used to only make meat sauce, my mom's recipe, but haven't ever made it for my kids! We are so used to having a veggie sauce all the time. ...

erose33 wrote: Chili is a great make-ahead recipe. Brown some ground turkey or super-lean beef, add (I know, not the most original, but it's cheap and easy...) Del Monte tomatoes with green chilies or jalapenos and Bush's chili magic beans. We stock up on the canned goods when they're on sale. This is of course best prepared the day before or several hours in advance, and could be a great crock...
