We will be staying in Candolim this Novvember and would like to spend a couple of nights in a tent on a deserted beach, preferably north Goa , any ideas please.

Can anyone recommend any nice beach huts/tents we could stay in for a night or so while we are in Goa for Xmas and New Year. A friend has recommended one in the South but I was just wondering what others people could suggest. I found one - think it was called Elsewhere but unfortunately it is fully booked. Thanks

Its the busiest time of the year so you may not be able to be too choosey. Another excellent place in Ashvem ( 20 mins moped ride from Anjuna but much chiller) is Antonios paradise Ashvem Beach,Mandrem Mob 9822685641. But as I said its peak time of year and priority would go to longer staying Customers

Hi, I'm thinking of going to Blue Lagoon in January 2010. I'd like to know if the seabed there is rocky or sandy. From the pictures on their website (www dot bluelagoongoa dot com) you really can't tell. If it's rocky, then I'd rather stay at Agonda . Thanks, SB

I would book directly with ajay rather than go through an agent. I'll be visiting the beach there from 20 Jan for a month but staying in Agonda because I know so many people there.

As we didn't actually spend the night there, I can't comment on the comfy bed issue. It felt okay to sit on, but may be a whole nights sleep is another matter.
