I've noticed a marked drop in sync speed in the last couple of days, from around 5.4Mb to barely 4.0Mb (and that's only achievable by reducing the SNR margin even further than normal). DMT shows the downstream attenuation has jumped from 53dB to 57dB and the bottom attenuation graph has markedly altered. Could this be down to some pair swapping by BT? It seems curious that the ...

I have a set of speakers for the rear channels of a surround sound system that play too loud. Balancing the receiver outputs is not doing the job because of the jumble of different speakers and amps used in the whole set-up What value of resistors or volume pots should I use to bring the levels down? Hi, I am currently running a Netgear DG834v4 on an ADSL 2+ line. Whether it's the router or the poor line quality (60db attenuation, 10db SNR, BT say there's nothing wrong, tried the master socket, no luck), it is driving me mad with frequent (10 times a day) dropping of the internet connection. Lots of folks seem to have the same trouble with this router. Wi-fi connection is ...
