I am trying to perform linear attenuation within my shader, there seems to be some problems with the positioning of the lights. Code: Select all void PerPixel_Frag ( float3 normal: TEXCOORD0, float3 LightDir : TEXCOORD1, float3 HalfAngle : TEXCOORD2, float3 FragPos : TEXCOORD3, float2 uv : TEXCOORD4, uniform float4 lightPosition, ...

Hi, If we calculate the flux at a certain distance from a source of radiation by first neglecting the effect of attenuation in air, how does one factor in the effect of air attenuation? I do not know how to apply that theory. I'm am trying to understand what the difference is at sea level or at high elevation. Helping understanding both ...

Is it impossible to have antialiasing and point attenuation at the same time on Open GL ES? It seems so, because when I add the code for antialiasing glEnable(GL_POINT_SMOOTH); the point attenuation dissapears. Or am I doing something wrong?

I've noticed a marked drop in sync speed in the last couple of days, from around 5.4Mb to barely 4.0Mb (and that's only achievable by reducing the SNR margin even further than normal). DMT shows the downstream attenuation has jumped from 53dB to 57dB and the bottom attenuation graph has markedly altered. Could this be down to some pair swapping by BT? It seems curious that the ...

Now that there are a bunch of XTBM signal meters in the field, I'm getting reports that X10 filters are actually lowering signal levels. While I first thought that maybe this was a measurement error, I did confirm it myself. With the house being driven by the new XTBR repeater, I monitored the signal level on my weakest X10 circuit. Then I connected several different X10 filters to ...

I have a set of speakers for the rear channels of a surround sound system that play too loud. Balancing the receiver outputs is not doing the job because of the jumble of different speakers and amps used in the whole set-up What value of resistors or volume pots should I use to bring the levels down? Depending on the music I'm playing, they need to come down between 5 and 20 dB's. One ...

Hi, I am currently running a Netgear DG834v4 on an ADSL 2+ line. Whether it's the router or the poor line quality (60db attenuation, 10db SNR, BT say there's nothing wrong, tried the master socket, no luck), it is driving me mad with frequent (10 times a day) dropping of the internet connection. Lots of folks seem to have the same trouble with this router. Wi-fi connection is ...
