About six years ago, I bought about 8 retail boxed ATI Radeon 7000 cards (PC version) and flashed them myself. As for DVD movie playback on my B&W (Rev. 2 mobo), I also connected my external FireWire/USB DVD±RW drive. It had better DVD playback when connected to the USB 2.0 PCI card, than it did with the onboard FireWire, but the B&W's FireWire bus is known to be somewhat unstable....

Need a DVI output on my old Asus Pentium Pro 200MHz (award bios, i440fx-pi-p6np5c-00). Bought a ATI 9200 PCI. No screen at all (not even when I power on the PC). Totally blank. I cant make my ATI Radeon 9200 work fine in Windows 7, anyone knows any solution. My screen resolutions and colors are very OK, but I can't play games because it gives an error about D3DDevice. I think it means Direct3D. So I was guessing its about my graphic card. I really need help on this.

Hi Jeff ! Yes I tried with the B&W in conjunction with the 9200 alone (no other PCI cards installed) and still ended up with the same issue. Again, it works perfect with the ATI Rage 128 so it can only be the graphic card. Is your Radeon 7000 a flashed Radeon (originally a PC card) or is it a genuine "made for mac" card ? Thanks, PA....
