ati and overclock - board messages report

Overclock ATI 4830 (Locked) I have a MSI Radeon 4830 OC 1GB that is factory overclocked from 575Mhz to 585Mhz but know this card can do some more. I have the latest version of ati catalyst installed but the overclocking is locked (you cant change any settings) anyone know how to unlock this as I cant find it on fourms anyware atm......

Ati radeon x1600 gddr3 comparison and overclock

hi I have a ati radeon x1600 with just basic manufacturer cooling. Now i am looking for overclocking but my friend said this card is not good enough to overclock comparing to other cards like x1300. so can any one tell me that can i overclock my card also do i need to install special cooler in order to overclock my card. Thank you

I have the sapphire 512mb version, i use/used riva tuner to overclock mine. Gpu 830mhz Stock being 750 Memory 1200mhz Stock being 1000 And use either occt gpu test, or fur mark to check for artifacts and for heat. Best bet is to clock one at a time, finding the limit of both, then trying the combo out. I went up in 5mhz Steps untill it started artifacting.

if CCC is freezing on you then OCing is not in your future, CCC is driver level OCing only thing more reliable is bios adjustment. IF your card cant run driver level clocks I would not adjust the bios at all. Try running driver sweeper/cleaner and installing a newer driver. __________________...
