Temps should be fine. I would suggest running a 15min Furmark test (google it). If you temps touch 85 or so or you see artifacts, you should reduce clocks, otherwise its fine. Get a benchmark software like 3D mark 06, 3d mark vantage etc and check for your GPU score. If 700MHz/1050MHz gives you a better score than 700MHz/MHz1100, then keep it to the former. Higher clocks don't always equate to ...

Gives great performance for the price. at 1440x900 with 4xAA it plays all new games and good ones at about 30 or 40 fps. Got mine for €52. Meh, wont bother with physical mods for a while.

Am update for some nvidia peeps. (i ran nvidia for yrs). ati drivers are fine. 5800's overclock nicely. temps are as good as nvidia cards. in my opinion there isnt much reason to buy an nvidia card atm over an ati one. physx is only usefull in a few titles where the effects are obvious. the only nvidia card that produces more fps is the 295 and re ...

Quoting primesuspect I have an engineering sample. I don't know if that means anything /curveball I have no idea. There's no guarantee than an engineering sample is 100% the same thing as the retail products.

I have the sapphire 512mb version, i use/used riva tuner to overclock mine. Gpu 830mhz Stock being 750 Memory 1200mhz Stock being 1000 And use either occt gpu test, or fur mark to check for artifacts and for heat. Best bet is to clock one at a time, finding the limit of both, then trying the combo out. I went up in 5mhz Steps untill it started artifacting.
