Question Mark and The Mysterians had out another hit song "Do Something To Me". Later Tommy James and The Shondells did a cover version of it on their Crimson and Clover album. I attempted to put both versions together in a music video to show how they both sound. Both groups do a nice job on the song. This video is dedicated to my late husband Mike Harrell and to the late Peter Lucia, who was ...

I learned some interesting stuff about Question Mark while reading Meat Loaf's autobiography. Meat was actually hired as a body guard for ? back before Meat made it big. He said the guy would get so wasted and not sleep at night. He would destroy the hotel room so the band wanted someone with him. One night he tried to sneak out of his room and I think that was the last time Meat "babysat...

And I'm not sure why. Yesterday, little voice in my head said "This shall be the week of Mystery," and apparently my duty is to encourage y'all to: 1. Embrace the mystery. 2. Solve a mystery. 3. Be mysterious. 4. Shun Mysterians. Go forth, and do likewise!

"96 Tears" was 1966. According to Wiki they formed in '62. The Beatles already had "long hair" by then. Did the Mysterians? Any photographic evidence? What saved him from ruin was... ... THE ELECTRIC GUITAR!!!

QUOTE(ColonelZen @ Nov 29 2009, 01:10) Which in what way voids the concept of "mind"? The mind is useful but it is not necessary. The brain is where information is processed, the mind is our interpretation of that state from moment to moment. Occam's Razor. You don't have to get rid of it but I don't consider it in wider systems. QUOTE(ColonelZen @ Nov 29 2009, 01:10)...

Hey Joe: I've had the 45 of Garland Jeffreys- 96 Tears since it was released (81) and I've always loved it. Maximum respect to the original hit version by ? & the Mysterians, which I have a mint copy of on vinyl in the original Cameo Parkway factory sleeve. A sweet item, which I can assure you, was not aquired cheaply. The song made it's first appearance on CD only a couple years ago!

The early hits of the Beatles were juke box staples in the mid 60's 'Can't Buy Me Love', She Loves You' and many others. How about 'Wild Thing' by the Troggs 'Surfin' Bird' Can't remember who did it originally? '96 Tears', ? & The Mysterians
