I'll take a stab at it, perhaps it was a Factory 5 GTM. Its an American kit car manufacturer that uses sourced Corvette parts to complete it. or...you'd have to be living under a rock to not know what this is, but I'll throw it out there since it meets all your descriptions....A Ford GT?

the G35 is not American made. Premium Gas is needed. Oil Changes frequently. Car likes to eat tires (also depends on your driving). And if anything breaks, like any modern car, the parts are expensive. I've had my car since Feb 28 2009. So far I've needed, swaybar endlink, control arm, Steering rack, and three sets of tires.

Ferrari has parts from probably every car maker including Ford and its no doubt an exotic. Viper/ Ford GT are american exotics. they meet all criteria. Viper may share part but its made in its own factory. And they are hand made. Exotic doesn't mean what it use to when you have Viper, ZO6, R8 and GT-R , with equal or better performance to Ferrari and Lambo for 1/3 the price. One component ...

My neighbor with his new Z06 asked me why I didn't take a look at an American sports car. I asked him to open his hood and find me 12 parts that said: "Made in USA" ... he couldn't, and many said: "Made in Mexico, Spain, China, etc. Being that my Z4 is assembled using American labor in South Carolina, we were even in the labor respect, but many "American" cars are also assembled in Canada....

I always check with my local parts supplier Lordco since they offer a 30% discount for BMW car club members. The only time they offer a competitve price is when they offer some american after market part. No, I don't want monroe shocks or an american made water pump. They never have good prices ofr OEM stuff, its like gold to them. Autohausaz.com has never failed to bring the best parts, with ...
