Checking bios updates for AM2+/AM3 Gigabyte boards shows they have incorporated a "CPU Core Control option" function like many of the ASUS boards already have. This seems to be a beta version. Thought that if you are interested in unlocking or even locking some cores it may come in handy!

I've "misplaced" the mounting clip and lever for a Zalman 9500 (AM2 version). That's the sprung metal clip (+ lever) that fits through the base of the cooler and clips onto the mounting points on a standard AM2 CPU frame. I know a total of jack and squat about water cooling so I need recomendations on water blocks for a 9800GT EE ( maybe one that covers memory as well? ), an AMD 785G chipset and an AM2 CPU. I don't know what fitting size but I know there are blocks out there where that isn't important.
