Ok, so this got into my head just a little while ago.. What is the Root difference Between AIS and Swyer syndrome? Why is it that a woman with Swyer\'s has a womb, but someone with AIS dose not? Unless I misunderstand, both have issues with the sex-determining gene on the Y chromosome? So why will one woman have a womb, and one won\'t? I\'ve dome some reading, and I must be missing something ...

Installation was pretty straight forward....comes with its own GPS antenna...needs an external VHF antenna or an approved splitter....the fun comes doing the interface between my chartplotter (SH1000c) and my Radio (SH GX3500)...The manual says all 4 gps wires from the AIS are input....they aren't....took calling both SH and West Marine Tech to sort it all out.....once sorted out....it works ...

Remove all Advertisements I posted a note in the 'cheap servo mod' thread, but i thought i'd add more detail here. I got a new pipe a couple of weeks ago, took off the exup servo motor but hadn't gotten around to removing the ais. The exup comes off with the exhaust . You can take off the exup motor & cable stuff then, but it will ...

I'm on the cusp of moving up from my D200 to a good, used D700. I'll probably Craig's List my 16-85, but retain my 35 f/2, my 60 micro AF-S, my AIS 105 qnd 135 and, for sure, my 180 f/2.8 AF ED. I'm confident the 180's focusing will be enhanced by the D700 (probably much as it would have been by the D300's system), but will the 35 f/2 benefit from any focusing improvement (it'll be my standard...

Hi, I am 46 with AIS found on LEEP and CKC both w/ positive margins. After LEEP gyn/onc was recommending total hyst. but now w/ CKC results he thinks we should do a modified radical. Has anyone else had these test result and what treatment did you pursue? Did you end up with a final dx of AIS or invasive cancer? Thank you.

( Isn't this all confusing?! I thought in post menopausal women androgen was produced in the adrenal glands and maybe the liver too and this androgen is converted to estrogen when it combines with an enzyme called aromatase. Arimidex locks into the aromatase preventing it from being able to link up with the androgen. I am unclear about the small amount of estrogen produced in our fat cells...

Dear ChemoSobby38, Has your onc discussed with you that all these aches and pains are probably due to your being very young to be deprived of estrogen? This deprivation which ironically saves your life turns you chemically into a much older person and for some of us the debilitating effects are severe. I wish I could tell you that it gets better - in my experience it does not - but what does ...

Hi, I really want to bite the bullet this weekend and buy a soundcard/audio interface. I need monitors too, but I will wait til I get the soundcard/AI first. I know next to nothing about soundcards/AIs, but I want a studio setup by Xmas, if possible. I want to get the soundcard that will allow any monitors to "plug in" to them, one that will decrease the horrible latency on my midi ...
