Hey gents, I need some airbag education from you all. I have a 2001 Passat wagon thats currrently dropped on a set of KW V1 coilovers. Nice enuf but I'm wanting the low, low, low. So airbags it is. I started out to replace the blower resister pack and need to remove the passenger airbag to get to it. I've searched and read through many posts about removing it, but have not seen any clear instructions about how to remove the screws holding the airbag in place. Ive had the surround off my car today that surrounds the cd player etc, and i unplugged the hazards, and air bag light etc and when refitting the airbag light on my dials is staying on, any help would be great

Hi all, I've been searching for a couple of hours on the airbag on/off switch and it's surprising how little info there is out there, especially for DIY installs (why is it in the US everything is about paying someone else to do it for you, with the government legally restricting you from doing it yourself??). Ok, I got so sick of the airbag light flashing and was set, bound, and determined to fix it. I scoured PT for hours trying to find a fix. Finally, I found the part number for the new fuse, but not a how to or anything, just a "solder it in and your good to go" In my book, I decided to take pics as I went through this fix and write up a hopw-to for the next person that needs this fix has a guide....

just installed my clifford matrix 12.5x yesterday and when i put everything back together it all worked fine but my airbag light now blinks when i turn the car on.. i checked all the yellow plugs and they all seem connected. anyone know what it might be?

Hey guys, ive got to get the steering wheel off my felly fun, what do i do about the airbag? Is there one of these funny rotatable joints that keep a connection when rotated? If i pull it all off and put it back together after, will the airbag light be on and need resetting? Cheers for any help paul

I have tan passenger side airbag for 94-98 cars. It will also fit 99-04 if the pig tail is changed. I also have the crash sensors that I will throw in with it. It is in perfect shape $225 OBO
