Hello: The picture below is of an aftermarket set of power windows that have been installed in a Patriot I am considering buying. Does anyone recognize these aftermarket materials? Anyone know of their quality? They look rather chinzy. But, with a good price, I am wondering if it would be feasable to revert the windows back to hand crank. Any thoughts? PipeTobacco

This vehicle is a pass. I wouldn't even mess with it. More trouble than it's worth when you can just wait for one to come along that has power windows from the factory. You'll be glad you waited when it's all said and done.

They finally stopped working after a couple of weeks of speratic operation. Since they are after market there is no fuse labeled for them, they are however lighting up when the headlamps are on. Where should I start to find the problem?

Hey all. My S-10 has manual windows at the moment and I was looking at my options. Should I spend a couple hundred on an aftermarket power window system and modify my door panels to fit the switches, or look into finding factory door panels with power window switches already in them and install OEM power window hardware? Is this even possible to do and where would I look (besides the ...

Re: OEM Power Windows vs Aftermarket does anyone have pictures of their aftermarket switches mounted? and on the a1electric switch kit, is everything you need included for use with oem motors/regs? they've got an acc power relay as a related product; is there any use for that on our trucks?
