Just moved into a small village, sold 50 acres and a house and now have a half acre and a house. Want to plan my landscape well. Really want an ultra fragrant tree near the deck that overlooks the village pond. I'm 63, so I would like (at least) a medium growth tree. Please give me some suggestions! Paul

I have a 6 year old potted avocado tree. I keep it indoors in winter, outdoors in shade in summer. I live in zone 6. My tree has been having brown leave spots, and the tips are curling under and turning brown. Even some of unaffected green leaves are turning under and curling up. I water 1x per week. I have an Optimax XL6 - backlighting Microprocessor Alarm. When I try to set the alarm Zone 6 red light shows up and it bleep indefintely and the alarm is never set. The only way round this I found was to OMIT out zone 6 and then I can set the alarm when leaving the house. Has the Zone 6 PIR gone faulty ir something else? I have purchased a new PIR to replace.
