I took my driveshaft off to replace U joints and one of the bolts broke inside the yoke on the rear end. I dilled a hole down the center of it and then broke the tip off the the easy out. I have heard different opinions that if I take the yoke off ill mess up the shimming or its no big deal. Does anyone know if I have a crush washer in there or can I take off the yoke and put it back on with no ...

The slip yoke on my standard cab 1991 B2600 4x4 seems to be worn. It vibrates at certian speeds. Anyone know where I can get it fixed without re-financing my house?

I'm chasing a high mph vibration...like 60+ I put a TKO in a while back and its been there every since. Is it possible to screw up putting a new slip yoke on the factory drive shaft? It seemed pretty straight forward to me...just swapped the factory 28 spline yoke out for the new 31-spline. Anyway to check this?

Hi all, My son tried his friends scooter/moped and fell off. the result is that he has damaged the bike. the yoke is bent and we can't get it straightened out. the problem is that it is a chinese scooter and trying to get parts is an absolute nightmare! We ordered a yoke from 'chinese motorcycle spares' and were expecting delivery today. however, they contacted us to say that even though when ...

Hey guys, I put a high clearance flat belly pan under my MJ and it pushed up the transfer case up pretty much as far as it'll go. Well... this has made my rear driveshaft angle kind bad at the slip yoke. I still have the OEM slip yoke and don't plan on changing it to a SYE unless it breaks. Anyway, I'm thinking if I put a Double cardan CV joint back there it would help a ...

I've asked questions about this with a number of top shooters and got totally contradictory answers. I shoot a Hoyt 737 with Cam and 1/2 cams. It comes from the factory with a floating yoke and it shot OK. Then I was persuaded by and expert shooter (and he really was an expert) who advised me to go to a fixed yoke which I did. With this I was able to remove the cam lean from the bow and this ...

I have a WG 33K3301 and need to know where the wedges go for the yoke. They seem to have fallen out during transportation. There is not any eveidence of tape residue either. I actually was able to by some new wedges and adjustment tape to set the convergence. The monitor does work well. Just gets a hiss after a while . So if anyone has a pic it would help.. Any tips on this beast would ...

A look see revealed that my rear shock is leaking a tad, so time to replace. An OE version is £500.00......so that isn't going to happen, and I think Mott got the last Ohlins! So perhaps a Hagon with new fork springs as well, also toying with a top yoke conversion, what say the board?

1356 Transfer case woes I recently (last week) put a zf-5 and a 1356 transfer case in my 97 dually. I have a problem. On my output shaft, there is a tremendous leak. It is a slip yoke type. I used the driveshaft from the e4od, modified. It is the same slip yoke that my donor truck has. I have replaced the seal already, same problem. I ...

My new computer has windows 7, 64 bit. I loaded Flight Simulator X Deluxe. It loaded fine but I couldn't calibrate the yoke, joystick, etc. I removed FSX, then found out I needed new Windows 7 driver downloads to make them work. I got the downloads and tried to reinstall FSX. Not one of the 3 FSX disks will install or be recognized by the computer. Any other disks will play normally. I tried ...
