Yesterday I down loaded SP 3 and after restarting the Os would not complete the run. Just before it would reboot the XP logo would appear including the bar below showing the sys running and a flash of a blue screen with some words but could not be read. I run the repair off the XP CD and still would not fix the problem. Please help... 1 person needs an answer I do too

Good day. My computer crashed recently. BSOD. I took it to a friend who got rid of the BSOD. I since have run Malware bytes, AVG, Adaware, Spybot, Advance windows care & CCleaner. Found some problems and removed or fixed those problems. At this point, I cannot get my task manager to come up and the computer is so slow (with ...

I lost most of my discs that came with my PC...Including the OS install disc. -_- (Haven't seen it in 5 years) I only have a couple of the driver discs, but not all of them. I REALLY need the OS disc at the least because when I get my iMac, I will want to run XP through Bootcamp so I can run games that aren't available for the Mac, such as Grand Theft Auto IV. Is there a way I can contact ...

The crucial thing is not to write a single byte more to your harddrive. Each time you write anything, you risk overwriting data necessary to decrypt the data (if that hasn't happend already).

reboot the computer and rapidly tap the F8 key when it comes up with a windows boot menu, select "disable automatic restart after failure" this will stop the blue screen from disappearing. then you can read it and post it bak up here. we are after hopefully a file name. but error codes can help too "sometimes"

Hi, Currently Windows 7 is installed on drive C:, but it displays as a network drive type in Windows Explorer, did I misunderstand? It is recommended to upload a screen shot for a better understanding. Please visit the following link to insert a screenshot in your post. Just to update - I have searched Google etc and it would appear that there is no method for changing the format for a group as a whole/in one go. It would appear that one has to do each email recipient in the group one at a time - unless somebody knows differently of course. So far, part of the group have been reformatted/configured to only receive in Plain Text. An email has ...

I'm thinking about installing Windows 7 over an infected version of Windows XP and would like some help and input on how best to accomplish this - most especially, to avoid any possibility of reinfection of the new OS. I have an older (2003ish) desktop running XP which has contracted an especially nasty Vundo infection (right through the McAfee virus program I was previously running). ...
